Think of them as a combination between an old-school slip, a boxer brief and a bike short: They give you coverage under short or too-sheer outfits, stop your inner thighs from trying to start a forest fire, and light smoothing with no VPL (the word “panties” weirds us out, too). Plus, the knit-in cotton-rich crotch means you can wear them without underwear if you want, eliminating the need for an extra layer.

I love the “The Cargo 5”, the 7s not so much. Unfortunately I did not read that YOU CANNOT RETURN ITEMS, so I wasted some time trying to figure out how to return them only to finally realize, oh, cannot return. Just a heads up to folks like me, who don’t pay attention, read the fine print, distracted, or whatever the cluelessness.

All the advertising is true! They are lightweight and they don’t ride up. So much better than the bike shorts I used to wear. I bought them in a whim and then bought 2 more pairs. Love the pocket too, for dresses that don’t have pockets. These will be my go-to purchase for years to come.

Great under-almost-everything shorts

I now own 3 pairs of TS cargo shorts and love them! My previous "bike shorts" were thicker than I wanted and not so comfortable. These are so much better - for all the reasons other reviewers noted but especially because they're lightweight and don't roll down. Now we just need a version with pockets in BOTH sides!

Runs Big for me but amazing when I found my size!

I searched high and low and researched all of the undergarments I could find that are good for walking, wearing skirts and traveling. I really wanted something not too tight or restricting, light weight, cooling, and that doesn’t roll up or down. Not too tight of a waist. Low, but not too low. Lol you get the idea here… I was searching for the magic pair. I ordered a medium large and usually wear a size 10 to 12. Those just were a little bit too big in that they weren’t snug enough. So I got a size small/medium and they’re absolutely perfect. I am wearing them to Italy next week and know that they’re the right pair for me.
