Plus, the knit-in cotton-rich crotch means you can wear them without underwear if you want, eliminating the need for an extra layer.

Favorite running shorts

These are the only shorts I will wear to run in these days - extremely comfortable, completely opaque, useful pocket, no seams for chafing, and no need to wear underwear underneath. PLEASE consider making these in a legging length like is offered for the cooling. Then my winter run outfits would be sorted too!

I love these - and they have an unexpected benefit for a medical condition

I have a disorder that makes my skin extremely sensitive to pressure, so that even apparently smooth cloth can really irritate it and it can become quite sore. Wrinkles in the sheets are a case in point. Wearing these shorts, which are smooth and soft but also have a little thickness to them, provides a little protection against other materials I may be sitting on. So not only are they great for yoga or walking around, they make sitting less painful, too.

I'm diabetic and I got these to go under dresses/skirts so I have a pocket for my insulin pump. Placement of the pocket was good if you have a looser skirt, but would be obvious with a slinkier/tight fitting dress.
I wore them over tights & under a dress for a cold/winter wedding guest outfit.
Four star instead of five just because the first time I put them on, my socked foot did that thing where it frictions with the fabric, got caught & pulled and immediately a couple stitches on the pocket ripped when the fabric stretched.
They're soft (which is nice!) but the softer fabric made them really hard to pull up when worn over tights. Also kind of caught my dress skirt as well so wouldn't recommend with any silky materials on top.
